Have fun playing Patch games at Chi-Tag
BELOIT, Wis. – If you love to play games, be sure to stop at Patch Products’ booth during the 2006 Chicago
International Toy and Game Fair to see the company’s newest and most popular games.
The Fair gives the general public a chance to play and purchase the latest games direct from manufacturers.
This year’s Fair is Nov. 17-19 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL.
Patch has picked seven games from its full line of board games and card games to bring to the Fair for game
players to enjoy. The featured games are: BubbleBrain™, Domination™, Swap!®,
Toss Up!®, Jeff Foxworthy’s™ You Might Be a Redneck If…™ Game, Buzzword® and Such &
Such®.
Patch also will be promoting the Million Minute Family Challenge™, which it sponsors every year to
encourage interaction and communication among family and friends. The sixth annual Challenge started Sept. 1
and runs through Dec. 31. The goal is for people across the nation to play board games for a total of 1
million minutes. Thousands of game players participated last year, logging 1,004,294 minutes.
People who play games at the Toy and Game Fair will be able to log their minutes and see the national total
increase during the big game-playing weekend. Everyone can participate by playing games and logging minutes at
www.millionminute.com
The Web site is filled with fun ideas about games to play, the benefits of family time, the history of games and how to use games in
the classroom.

Saturday, Nov. 18; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19. The cost to attend is $5 per day for each person or

Here is a brief description of the Patch Products games that will be at the Fair:
BubbleBrain™ – In BubbleBrain, make up funny captions for hundreds of photos and then
try to guess what player wrote which caption. Be funny, witty or serious, but let your personality shine
through. In BubbleBrain, your imagination is the limit.
Domination™ – Domination is strategic, challenging and suspenseful, while at the same
time, classic in its simplicity. Play dominoes on their corresponding spaces on the game board. As you
complete squares, you conquer territories and claim them as your own. For ages 8 and up.
Swap! ® – Swap! is the addictive card game that has players constantly changing
hands. Players discard cards based on matching colors. You might have to Swap hands or race to Slap the pile.
Watch out because Super Swap makes everyone Swap hands. For ages 7 and up.
Toss Up! ® – In Toss Up!, you roll 10 dice that have green, yellow and red sides. Add up
your points by rolling greens, but there’s a catch! If you roll a red with no greens, your turn is over. The
goal is to get to 100. For ages 8 and up.
Jeff Foxworthy’s™ You Might Be A Redneck If…™ Game You might be a Redneck if … you get
your daily amount of fiber from _____. Fill in the blank by making a choice – Is it Pork Rinds? Toothpicks?
Chewin’ tobacco? Pick the one that’s an official Foxworthy Redneck joke. The more you get right, the faster
you get all kinds of stuff for your trailer. For ages 16 and up.
Buzzword® – Let’s say the Buzzword is ball. A team has 45 seconds to solve 10 clues, and
all the answers contain the Buzzword ball. For example: They plump when you cook them (Ball Park Franks);
Prisoner’s ankle garb (Ball and chain); Soccer in Europe (Football). For ages 10 and up.
Such & Such® – Such & Such is a game filled with clever pairings and witty
competition. Think of things that go together … there’s Peanut Butter & Jelly, Salt & Pepper, Cain & Abel.
For ages 10 and up.
