Patch Products Hires New Employees
BELOIT, Wis. – Patch Products, a leading manufacturer and marketer of family entertainment products, has
named a new vice president of finance and a new public relations manager/copywriter.
As Patch’s new VP of finance, Richard “Dick” Powell is responsible for directing all
financial operations of the company. He has a wealth of experience working in the areas of finance and
operations at manufacturing companies ranging in size from $3.5 million to $389 million in annual revenues.
During his career, he has held the positions of cost accountant, system analyst, controller, chief financial
officer, vice president of operations and owner. He and his family live in Edgerton, Wis.
"Dick is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to Patch's future success, and we are thrilled
that he is joining our team," said Fran Patch, the company's CEO.
In addition, Barbara Uebelacker is the company’s new public relations manager/copywriter.
She is responsible for gaining publicity for Patch and its games and toys. She also writes and proofs copy
for the company’s products. She is a resident of Beloit, Wis., and has extensive journalism experience,
working as both a reporter and editor. Most recently, she was managing editor of The Janesville Gazette.
