Patch Products Becomes a
USO Official Sponsor
(Beloit, Wis.) -- Patch Products Inc. is proud to announce that it has become an Official Sponsor of the USO. In addition to a cash donation, Patch has offered its board games, card games, coloring books and new Imperial® Patriotic Poker playing cards to all domestic USO Centers, to entertain service members and their families.
Patch also has sent more than $20,000 worth of family products to Fort Hood, Texas, for the April 22 Welcome Home celebration honoring the Army's 4th Infantry Division's Task Force Ironhorse. Responsible for capturing Saddam Hussein Dec. 13, soldiers of Task Force Ironhorse are returning home after nearly a year in the Sunni Triangle of Iraq.
For more than 63 years, the USO (United Service Organizations) has created and sustained programs for America's military personnel and their families, providing a wide range of services worldwide. In addition to entertainment tours, USO centers offer Internet and email access, libraries, housing assistance, game rooms and many other services.
As part of its partnership, Patch is introducing new Imperial Patriotic Poker playing cards. These playing cards are made with a high-quality linen finish and are available in two versions. One features an American Eagle with the United States flag and the other features the Statue of Liberty with the United States flag. Both read "United We Stand."
