See What's New from Patch Products at Toy Fair!
Beloit, Wis. -- Patch Products is expanding its roster of family-friendly entertainment products. Patch will unveil its unique assortment of new board games, card games, activities and puzzles at Toy Fair in New York, February 16-19, 2003.
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer®: Patch Products signed a license agreement with GT Merchandising and Licensing Corp. for the 1964 classic, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. At Toy Fair, Patch will unveil a complete line of board games, card games and puzzles in a variety of sizes and price points. Rated the #1 holiday special on CBS every year with 30 million viewers, Rudolph is a tradition for families. Lisa Huston, Licensing Manager at Patch, says, "The creativity behind the games add a whole new level of depth to the property. Families will enjoy playing these together."
Backyard Games: These classic outdoor games for ages 5 and up include a molded foam ball and game rules for backyard fun. Choose from Hot Pepper™, Spike Spike™, Cut the Cheese™ and Freeze Tag™. (A great time to enjoy the games is during National Backyard Games Week™, May 19-26, 2003.)
Buzzword™: This is an all-family party game for ages 10 and up. Let's say the Buzzword is ball. A player and his teammates have 30 seconds to solve 10 clues, and all the answers contain the word ball. For example: They plump when you cook them (Ball Park Franks); Prisoner's ankle garb (Ball and chain); Soccer in Europe (Football).
Swap!™ Card Game: The goal is to get rid of all your cards by playing cards on matching colors. Be careful! Your cards are never really your own... the Super Swap card makes all players swap hands. Quick play and ever-changing hands create a fun, challenging game for ages 7 and up.
Kids' Play Workshop™: These activity kits for ages 6 and up include everything needed to make a toy that can be played with using the included flipbook. Itty Bitty Puppet Show™ contains all the materials needed to make a little puppet theater and 10 silly finger puppet characters. The flipbook is filled with funny fairy tales and stories such as "Little Red Riding Bathrobe" and "Sleeping Cutie." Hop & Skip Jump Rope™ features a plastic cord, plastic handles and hundreds of colorful beads to make a beaded jump rope. The flipbook contains rhymes and jingles such as "Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack… All dressed in black, black, black..."
Shower Games: Patch Products has adapted its top-selling Blurt!® and Mad Gab® board games for bridal showers and baby showers. Get your guests and the bride-to-be into the spirit of the upcoming wedding with Bridal Shower Blurt!® and Bridal Shower Mad Gab®.
