Patch Introduces New Games at Toy Fair

BELOIT, Wis. – Patch Products is introducing new games at The American International Toy Fair® in New York City February 11-14, 2007.

The American International Toy Fair is the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere. More than 1,500 manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from 30 countries introduce their new toys, games and entertainment products.

ShakeDown — The goal of this card-stacking party game is to Stack ’Em Wide, Don’t Let ’Em Slide! Players draw cards from the bottom of the tower and place them on top, making the stack grow big and wide, but being careful that cards don’t slide off. For ages 7 to adult. Available now.

Can-Do Roo — This soft kangaroo has a pouch full of activities to help teach numbers, letters, colors and shapes to children. The preschool game also includes activities, such as hopping like a kangaroo and imitating the sounds and actions of animals, so children have fun while learning. For ages 4 and up. Available May 2007.

What’s Yours Like? — Players come up with clever, witty and outrageous clues in this party game. All players except the one in the hot seat look at a guess word and then creatively describe what theirs is like. They might be telling about their swimsuit, neighbor, closet, hair or any of the other 300-plus words. The player in the hot seat then tries to link the clues together to figure out what is being described. For ages 10 to adult. Available summer 2007.

Roll-It Tic-Tac-Toe — Dice are added to the classic game of Tic-Tac-Toe in this new family game. Players roll dice and mark a corresponding number on nine Tic-Tac-Toe grids. When players get three numbers in a row—either vertically, diagonally or horizontally—they score. The game comes in two versions—one with colored chips and game boards and another with colored markers on game sheets. For ages 7 and up. Available summer 2007.

Farkle — Players combine strategy and luck in The Classic Dice-Rolling, Risk-Taking Game. They can take a risk and keep rolling the dice to build their score, or they can play it safe so they don’t lose their points in a Farkle. For ages 8 and up. Available summer 2007.
