Backyard Activities: Kid Croquet Race
Four people (the Hoops) stand 15 steps apart to form a square. A fifth person (the Stake) stands in the middle of the box with feet together. Two players (the Racers) place a Zoam® Soccer Ball on the ground, two steps in front of hoops and kitty-corner from each other.
The Hoops face the Racers in front of them with feet apart. When someone says "GO," the racers kick their ball clockwise through all 4 hoops in order, and then off the stake. The first player to do this is the winner. After each race, players change positions taking turns as Hoops, Stakes and Racers.
