Community

At Patch, we’re very appreciative of our success and know it would not be possible without the support of our hometown, Beloit, WI, and surrounding communities. To show our thanks, Patch gives back to the community through contributions to local schools and nonprofit organizations.

Patch also participates in the local Fall Festival, volunteering our time and helping organize and sell games at a discount, with profits benefiting local community endeavors. Currently, our efforts are helping the city of Beloit raise money to build a playground at a local park.

In Smethport, PA at the annual Wooly Willy® Wonderdaze festival, we celebrate with the community by donating Wooly Willy toys and volunteering our time and resources for the festival.

In 2001, Patch started the Million Minute Family Challenge to encourage family togetherness and game play. Every year since then, families, friends, schools, social groups, game clubs and others from across the United States have played games for a combined total of 1 million minutes (or more) from September 1 through December 31.

Check it out at www.millionminute.com. The web site is filled with fun ideas about how to participate, games to play and educational information about the benefits of family time, the history of board games and how teachers can use games in their classrooms.

Every day we work to help preserve our environment through recycling efforts at both our corporate and manufacturing facilities. Since 1975, we have used soy ink and recycled materials whenever possible. We like being green.

Patch is also a proud supporter of the Toy Bank. We donate games and toys so that they can be distributed to children in need. We stand by the Toy Bank’s efforts to bring joy, happiness and comfort to children through toys and play.
