Marketing
Our marketing team is constantly looking for new ways to tell consumers about our products. From airplane, restaurant and hotel game-play to on-air radio promotions to television and radio advertising, you will find people playing our games everywhere. Once they start, they can't stop!
Because consumers sometimes need to be reminded to take a break from their busy lives and have some fun, Patch has created
National Game and Puzzle Week™ and National Backyard Games Week™.
In 2001, we started the Million Minute Family Challenge™ to encourage family togetherness and game play. Every year
since then, families, friends, schools, social groups, game clubs and others from across the United States have played games
for a combined total of 1 million minutes from September 1 through December 31.
The Million Minute Family Challenge is a grassroots effort to promote interaction and communication among family and
friends through playing board games. Games are a perfect way for people to take a break from their busy lives and a great way
for parents to interact with their children. The goal is to encourage at least 1,000 families, groups or organizations in
each of the 50 states to play a board game together for 20 minutes. That's 1,000,000 minutes.
Check it out at www.millionminute.com. The Web site is filled with fun ideas about how to participate, games to play and
educational information about the benefits of family time, the history of board games and how teachers can use games in
their classrooms.
